State Board of Health Orders. All Schools, Churches and Theaters Closed and Puts a Ban on Public Gatherings

  “An order from the State Board of Health, ordering all schools, churches and places of amusements closed and forbidding all public gatherings. Public gatherings are any meetings where more than five people are present at a time. This of course means that there are to be no meetings, no social club or the various church organization meetings. People must keep their children off the streets and on their own premises. The public should gladly co-operate with health authorities in their attempt to stamp out this extremely serious epidemic of influenza.”
