The Metal Age is divided into three categories: the Copper, Bronze, and Iron Age. People made a variety of metal objects and invented new techniques for making clay pottery.


Copper Age

-3,500 years ago

The Chalcolithic period was an era between the Neolithic period and the Bronze Age. The Copper Age mainly took place in the eastern Mediterranean regions.

Bronze Age

-2,200 years ago

The Bronze Age is a historical period that was characterized by the use of bronze and signifies social advances in European societies.

Iron Age

-800 years ago

The Iron Age revealed the changes in society through agricultural technique and the way war proceeded. The Iron Age occurred at different periods in time throughout the globe.
