About Astrology

Astrology:

12 Zodiac Signs

Astrology is both an art and a science.

Astrology is an art because due to the use of interpretation of the planetary alignments at a given moment. Astrology is a science because it requires astronomy and mathematics to understand where and how the planets are positioned at a given moment.

Astrology is the study of the planetary positions and their influence on human affairs. The Earth is positioned under the constellations that we see in the night sky. Even today we are under the influence of the seasons and planetary movements in the same way we were in the past.

By analyzing the projection of the planetary positions (including the Sun and the Moon) at the moment of birth, astrology can offer some insight to an individual’s basic characteristics, flaws, and fears based on their specific moment in time.

Furthermore, there are 12 zodiac signs, and each sign has its strengths and weaknesses, specific traits, desires and attitude towards life.

To conclude, astrology claims that everything happens for a reason and can also provide some answers as to why these things happen. Ultimately, the study of astrology can potentially help individuals better understand themselves and the world around them.

“Astrology is an ancient practice which is a combination of art and science, as it is both intuitive and technical. Based on the observation of the cosmos around us, it measures the energy influencing Earth and it’s inhabitants” (The Ancient Science of Astrology, 2015).
